Ben Affleck’s Batman Will Return For Aquaman 2

Ben Affleck will reprising the role of Batman in the upcoming Aquaman sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The return of the movie star Jason Momoa was announced in an Instagram post, showing a selfie of the cast. “Reunited,” Momoa wrote. “Bruce and Arthur. I love and miss you Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot just fine. All great stuff coming AQUAMAN 2 all set my aloha j.”

Along with the two photos, Momoa posted a short video of Warner Bros.’ backlot tour. He apparently discovers Affleck’s involvement in the film. “Well, this is not a ridiculous secret anymore!” Momoa jokes, before a Batman actor appears in his trailer.

Affleck previously played the head crusader in a series of films set in the DC Extended Universe including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League and Suicide SquadHe initially announced his retirement from the role in 2019. But it was later announced that Affleck would be returning as Batman in Sparklewhich is slated for release in 2023, and now we know it will appear in the Aquaman sequel as well.
